Singapore Zoo Going to Open on 6th July
Have you been wondering when Singapore Zoo is going to open in Phase 2 Covid? We have good news for you!
Singapore Zoo has announced that Jurong Bird Park, River Safari and Singapore Zoo are going to open on 6 July! To visit these attractions, you must go online to pre-book your tickets and arrival times, and keep to five people per group. All attractions at Jurong Bird Park, River Safari and Singapore Zoo will be open to the public on 6 July.
For corporate members, partners, individual adopters and those with Good Any Day tickets, bookings start from 13 July. To help with safe distancing, some activities like tram rides and play areas remain suspended.

In conjunction with its reopening, the Singapore Zoo has also launched a short video outling their cleaning and disinfecting process to keep everyone with a safe and clean environment and encourge visitors to practise safe distancing and always keeping their masks on.
Singapore Zoo Open: Restrictions and Safe Distancing
Singapore Zoo has announced that they will be operating at just 25 per cent of capacity and entry will be time-based.
Their priority is to ensure the well-being of guests, staff and animals. So, in order to operate responsibly and respect safe distancing, visitors should expect some adjustments in their parks. More information can be found on the zoo website here.
13 Pre-approved Attractions including Singapore Zoo Permitted to Open
Many attractions have been closed for nearly three months, since the start of Singapore’s circuit breaker on April 7 and beginning of Phase 2.
STB have announced that there are 13 pre-approved attractions permitted to open and resume operations in stages.
The 13 Singapore Attractions permitted to open are:
- Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay,
- Jurong Bird Park, River Safari Singapore Zoo
- Marina Bay Sands – ArtScience Museum, Casino
- SkyPark and observation deck at Marina Bay Sands, Universal Studios Singapore, SEA Aquarium, and the casino at Resorts World Sentosa, Madame Tussauds wax museum on Sentosa, trampoline park Bounce, Zero Latency.
Most attractions will be restricted to no more than 25 per cent of their operating capacity and access to casinos will be limited to existing members and annual levy holders for the time being.
