Under the National Steps Challenge, participants can earn up to $35 free vouchers by completing various tasks (see below for details). New participants can also collect the brand-new fitness tracker with 1.3” colour display, Blood Oxygen (SpO2) measurement function and sleep tracking function from 11th October onwards.
Note that as part of the “Early Bird Special” from 1 October – 10 October 2021, all Participants who are eligible to collect a new HPB fitness tracker in Season 6 will also be able to collect one past season’s HPB fitness tracker, on a first come, first served while stocks last basis.
Registration Period
Registration for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 will start on 6 September 2021, 1200 hours and end on 31 March 2022, 2359 hours.
The National Steps ChallengeTM Season 6 will officially start on 1 October 2021, 0000 hours and end on 31 March 2022, 2359 hours (“Official Challenge Period”).
Participants can earn Healthpoints from Steps and MVPA categories during the Official Challenge Period. HPB reserves the right to make changes to the Official Challenge Period as well as the start and end dates and time of the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6, without prior notice to Participants.
National Steps Challenge Season 6 Overview
The National Steps Challenge TM Season 6 is open to both new and past participants of the National Steps Challenge™. Past participants from Season 1, 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 who signed up for Season 6 will continue from the Steps and Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity (MVPA)
Reward Tier they last unlocked. Unredeemed points from past seasons will not be carried over to Season 6.
Under the National Steps Challenge TM Season 6, there are several other challenges which are available to Participants (“Challenge”). Each Challenge shall be governed by these Terms & Conditions and its Challenge terms.
National Steps Challenge Season 6 Eligible Devices
Participants who have successfully signed up for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 will have the option of taking part in the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 by tracking their physical activities via a “Preferred Fitness Tracking Device” which can be:
a) a HPB fitness tracker or
b) a compatible fitness tracker; or
c) a compatible fitness app, namely Apple Health (for Apple) or Samsung Health (for Android) on the Participant’s phone.
Once the Preferred Fitness Tracking Device has been set up, the Participant can start to earn Healthpoints (“Healthpoints”) in accordance with the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 mechanics upon the start of the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6. The Healthpoints
earned will allow the Participant to unlock each reward tier.

National Steps Challenge: How to sign up for Season 6
Follow these steps below to sign up for this year’s National Steps Challenge Season 6.
Step 1 – Download App
Download or update to the latest version of the Healthy 365 app.
Note: The latest version of the Healthy 365 app requires a minimum of Android 6 or iOS10.
Step 2 – Create Profile
Create or restore your profile.
A 4-digit One-Time-Pin (OTP) will be sent via SMS to your registered mobile number.
Step 3 – Pair your fitness tracker
Pair your preferred fitness tracking mode with the Healthy 365 app, if you have not yet done so.
Step 4 – Sign up
Tap on “Explore” under Menu and then tap “Challenges”. Look for “National Steps ChallengeTM Season 6” to sign up.
Step 5 – Agree
Agree to the Terms & Conditions and complete your Health Declaration status.
Congratulations, you have successfully joined the challenge!
National Steps Challenge Season 6 Participant Eligibility
The National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 is open to all individuals who meet the following
eligibility criteria:
a) Singaporean or Permanent Resident of Singapore with a valid NRIC, or a foreigner
with a valid FIN;
b) 17 years or older (based on birth year) at the point of registration. Eligible persons who are 17 years old must obtain parental consent before participating in the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6.
Participants who subsequently sign up for the LumiHealth will be automatically withdrawn from the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6. Any rewards that were unlocked prior to joining LumiHealth will still be available for redemption but earning of additional rewards from
the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 after joining LumiHealth will not be allowed. Eligible persons who are currently signed up for LumiHealth but would like to sign up for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6 must withdraw from LumiHealth first.
National Steps Challenge Season 6 Fitness Tracker Collection
All Participants who meet the following fitness tracker eligibility will be able to collect a new heart rate monitoring fitness tracker issued by HPB (“HPB fitness tracker”) which can track both steps and heart rate.
(a) Singaporean or Permanent Resident of Singapore with a valid NRIC, or a foreigner residing in Singapore with a valid FIN who is a participant of the Corporate Challenge;
(b) 17 years or older (based on birth year) at the point of registration and eligible persons who are 17 years of age have obtained the necessary parental consent to register for the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6;
(c) Signed up for the National Steps ChallengeTM Season 6 at the point of collection of the HPB fitness tracker and
(d) Subject to clause 4.1(e), have not collected a HPB fitness tracker in National Steps ChallengeTM Season 5.
Exceptions apply:
(f) Returning Participants who have completed all 6 tiers under the Steps Rewards category in previous seasons of the National Steps Challenge™ (“Steps Completers”) and selected employees under participating public service agencies are eligible for the collection of a new HPB fitness tracker even if they have collected in National Steps Challenge™ Season 5.
Eligible Participants who meet the criteria for collection of the HPB fitness tracker may be provided with a new/unused past season’s HPB fitness tracker in lieu of the new HPB fitness tracker. In addition, HPB reserves the right to cease the distribution of the HPB fitness
trackers, when stocks run out, or at its discretion without prior notice to Participants. Each Participant is entitled to only one (1) free HPB fitness tracker on a first come, first served, while stocks last basis.
As part of the “Early Bird Special” from 1 October – 10 October 2021, all Participants who are eligible to collect a new HPB fitness tracker in Season 6 will also be able to collect one past season’s HPB fitness tracker, on a first come, first served while stocks last basis.

National Step Challenge: Sleep 7 hours a day and Earn up to S$30 e-vouchers
In conjunction with the National Step Challenge Season 6, HPB has simultaneously launched a National Sleep Challenge encouraging Singaporeans to live heathier through sleeping better.

National Sleep Challenge Objective
Exercise and sleep are both vital to a healthy lifestyle. That’s why National Steps ChallengeTM is bringing you the Sleep Challenge. It’s a fun new way to make sleep a priority and get rewarded for it.
National Step Challenge: Sleep Challenge Overview
What: The Sleep Challenge rewards you for having sufficient sleep. Aim for at least 7 hours of sleep daily and be rewarded with up to $30 in eVouchers!
The National Sleep Challenge (“Sleep Challenge”) is an initiative by the Health Promotion Board (“HPB”) to encourage individuals to get sufficient sleep for better health and mental wellbeing. This Sleep Challenge is an extension of the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6. If a participant participates in this Sleep Challenge, they are automatically included in the National Steps Challenge™ Season 6.
When: Registration period: Challenge period:
How: Eligible participants are required to use the new Season 6 HPB fitness tracker with sleep tracking function* and Healthy 365 app. *Each day’s sleep will be counted from 12 noon to 11.59am the next day. Only sleep duration of at least 2 hours will be
recorded and counted towards each day’s total sleep duration.Participants who have collected the Season 6 HPB fitness trackers can clock and sync their sleep duration with the Healthy 365 app during the Official Challenge Period to be eligible for rewards.
Note: Sleep duration tracking for the Sleep Challenge can only be done with the Season 6 HPB fitness tracker (no other devices) and by syncing it with the Healthy 365 app.
Who can join:
- Singaporeans or Permanent Residents of Singapore with a valid NRIC or foreigners with a valid FIN.
- Aged 17 years or older (based on birth year) at the point of registration.
- Exclusive to participants who have completed “Steps Rewards” in previous seasons.
LumiHealth participants may join the challenge by withdrawing from LumiHealth programme. Withdrawal from the LumiHealth programme is irreversible.
National Step Challenge: Sleep Challenge Rewards and Mechanics
Full National Sleep Challenge Rewards earning and redemptions mechanics as below:
- Participants may earn 25 Healthpoints for clocking at least 7 hours of sleep each day during the Official Challenge Period. Each day is counted from 12 noon to 11.59am the following day. Only sleep duration of at least 2 hours between 12 noon to 11.59am the following day will be recorded. Note that Participants who sleep cross 12 noon each day will have their sleep duration cut off at 11.59am. Only sleep duration of at least 2 hours before 11.59am and after 12 noon will be counted towards the previous and following day’s total sleep durations respectively.
- Participants may earn double the Healthpoints (50 Healthpoints) during weekdays of certain weeks (“Bonus Weeks”) during the Official Challenge Period for clocking total sleep duration of at least 7 hours each day. Participants will be notified of Bonus Weeks via in-app notification on the Healthy 365 app, or by tapping on “Challenge Progress” found under “Home” on the Healthy 365 app.
- Healthpoints earned for clocking at least 7 hours of sleep each day during the Official Challenge Period will be directly credited to Participants’ e-wallets on the Healthy 365 app the following day, after 12 noon.
- The earning of Healthpoints will end on 1 April 2022, 1159 hours. To be eligible for Healthpoints earned before or up until 1 April 2022, 1159 hours, Participants have to sync their data with the Healthy 365 app not more than 7 days after the end of the Challenge.
- Redemption of Healthpoints must be done via the HPB Loyalty Programme. To redeem Healthpoints in the Healthy 365 app, Participants must agree to the Terms & Conditions of the HPB Loyalty Programme found in this link: https://www.healthhub.sg/programmes/182/healthhub-rewards
- HPB reserves the right to modify and/or terminate the Sleep Challenge rewards at any time at its sole discretion without any further notice to the Participants.
- Healthpoints earned under the Sleep Challenge are not transferrable under any circumstances. Should Participants’ accounts no longer be valid (i.e. deceased), participation in the Sleep Challenge will be withdrawn, and Healthpoints and/or rewards earned will be
forfeited immediately thereafter. HPB may allow additional rewards or Healthpoints to be won by Participants via the Healthy 365 app outside of the Sleep Challenge through mechanisms such as chance-based gamification, QR-code scanning gamification, or other HPB programmes conducted on the Healthy 365 app. - Under the Sleep Challenge, HPB may collaborate with partners to organise thematic or adhoc challenges with separate terms and conditions. HPB may allow additional rewards to be won by Participants, in accordance with the thematic or ad-hoc challenges’ terms and
conditions.
